UAE Flora is a "fully referenced, extensively validated, evolving, virtual data base which has been designed and developed to introduce native plants form the biodiversity of UAE to the Global scientific communities, with the help and support of UAE plants’ expert from all the emirates.This data base will be accessible to experts, researchers, and public to support the UAE flora conservation and reintroduction efforts. For this purpose, over 1000 native plants have been identified from more than 200 published articles and books from national and international author. Each entry in UAE Flora contains over 100 data fields representing various ecological, biological, and pharmacological properties, which have been properly documented in the database for end users. These pieces of information have been manually extracted from the literatures.
The prime aim of this database is to share knowledge, conservation, ecosystem protection, possibility to select the plants by benefits and it will serve the purpose of a plant data repository which is the first-of-its-kind in United Arab Emirates. UAE Flora is an initiative of Fujairah Environment Authority (FEA) and Fujairah Research Centre (FRC). The Fujairah research Centre plays a central role in the Emirate of Fujairah's vision and alignment to the UAE innovation strategy 2071. The Centre is focused on applied research and technology innovation for desert and tropical areas and encompasses environmental, genetic, marine, and wildlife research. FRC’s mission is to be recognized as an innovative and socially driven world-class Research Centre striving to support the economic transformation in Fujairah, UAE, and other tropical and desert regions worldwide."

Interactive maps, indicators, geographical statistics, satellite images and visuals media have been utilized to show case of the country's achievements in time series over the past fifty years, in the fields of Health, Education, Infrastructure, Economy, Energy And Water, Culture and Heritage, Population, Women's empowerment, Youth empowerment, Environment, Future Horizon, Regional and international context and Geospatial Information. The design adopted to be interactive and interconnected in order to form a storylines that enable the user to identify the extent of development in the target areas.
The development of Union Atlas comes within the framework of the center’s responsibilities and competencies as it is the official reference at the federal level regarding the geographic information, its collection and provision of related services, and within its efforts to achieve its strategic objectives aimed for building and developing the spatial data infrastructure system at the level of the UAE, which would support the achievement of the various objectives of the strategy national decision-making process."

MyLand: Abu Dhabi Department of Municipalities and Transport
MyLand is a map of the UAE with many GIS layers available. It is also an excellent source of road names and planned land use in the UAE. There is also a "Map Service" version of MyLand with relatively up-to-the-minute nadir imagery; though, you can also access this imagery from the main link, too, and it tends to be from Google or ESRI.
The Michelin Guide UAE map visualizes the restaurants of the UAE that have been recognized by the Michelin Guide with the distinctions of "Bib Gourmand", "1 Star" and "2 Star". The Michelin guide first began reviewing restaurants in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in 2022.
